http://www.sdit.org - Sons & Daughters In Touch (SDIT) is a web site for children of Vietnam veterans who are missing in action or died in Vietnam. It provides links to many military units, scholarship resources. Many military units have associations and newsletters allowing you to join and or place a request, "Looking for veterans that served with my Dad." Things to consider: create a web page in your dad's honor and link to SDIT web site; contact high school or college alumni associations; research your dad's hometown newpaper for obituaries, articles, letters sent home and may be a source of names as potential contacts. The request must include a copy of the military service records (DD 214) and contain the signature of the veteran or the signature of the next of kin if the veteran is deceased.
