As we come upon our annual nominations
and elections, I want to encourage everyone to participate in this function
that is so vital to our Chapter and our system of government.
I am sure the nomination committee is capable of
doing a proper and excellent job in selecting those it sees fit to lead our
chapter for the next year. All positions are up for election this year. I
will not endorse or sway any decision when it comes to nominations and
elections.
The positions that are up for nominations
are:
1. President
2. 1st Vice President
3. 2nd Vice President
4. Secretary
5. Treasurer
6. All board members
7. The nomination committee (every 2
years)
8. All delegates (every 2 years)
9. Master of Arms
If you have any questions, as always, feel free to
ask. I encourage each candidate nominated to "campaign" cleanly. I do hope
there will be a time when each candidate for office can be drilled by the
membership. Vote wisely.
