Greetings Patriots,

This Saturday, July 10, the Chapter will conduct its monthly meeting in the Women's History Room beginning around 12:45 in the afternoon. There will be cake and light refreshment and raffle after the brief meeting.

The Board will meet after the raffle. Do come and enjoy some fine company We do hope you will be prepped for Stand Down beginning the following week end.

The Chapter would appreciate....that if you are not visiting the Stand Down to bring clothing, toiletries and anything that would be of use for the Veterans that will be there. They expect about 3000 during the weekend event.

The members who want to assist will deliver the goods to the area on the morning of the first day, or on or about July 16. Many members drop by and visit the tent that is sponsored this year by the 472 and the Escondido 1031. Hope to See You There

The Chapter will also be moving toward their Casino Night. As the Board meets during the week, every week for breakfast, the word is out, that this will be our best event that will lead us believe it or not, to a massive tournament scheduled for June 2011 in Las Vegas, some seven months after the November 5th gala at Admiral Baker. Flyers and Save A Date cards are in the making. We plan on having our own VVA play money this year as well as speciality shirts for the one night six hour event. Come and Have Some Fun
