GREETINGS MEMBERS

We are off to a great year. With January behind us, we look forward to the coming months.

There are TET celebrations of the Vietnamese New Year on tap, some luncheons, and of course our meeting on Saturday, 6 March at 1 PM. Please note all meetings beginning with March will fall on the First Saturday of the month at ONE PM. This will give us an entire full month to fulfill our obligations and for planning our Agenda earlier throughout the month.

The President and Secretary attended a Leadership Conference in Fresno, the last of the month and many of the guidelines they have set in motion, will be utilized in the Chapter. For example, an actual budget to set up and to follow throughout the year. A report will be made at the February meeting. It was good to meet the State and Council reps. Sadly, while in Fresno, we received word from a member that Life Member John Smith, III had passed on. Please take a moment in remembrance of John. He will be sorely missed by his friends, the veteran's organizations, and other worthy causes that he was so dearly concerned with. God Bless Him and his family. Finally, do check the calendar on line for updates, additions, and general information.
